Food and food habits.
Food and food habits are different around the world. Today,
I had a chance to talk with two nice women from Vietnam and Poland. We had a
discussion with Dorotty about what is a typical dinner for people in her country.
She described her country as a colorful country with a rich variety of
ingredients that people use to prepare their dinner. The set of ingredients depends
on the part of the country where people live such as south, north and middle of
the country. Usually, the people use a small pieces food and mix them together,
for example: vegetables, rice and fish or meat. Afterwards, I talked with Maria
from Poland. She thinks that she is a good cook, although she doesn’t have
enough time to cook now as she did before. Perhaps when she is cooking, she
prefers to cook Mediterranean cuisine. Her favorite food is broccoli salad with
her own seasoning. Finally, if you ask me how many people are overweight in my
country, I would say not a lot. The people in Russia, especially young don’t really
think about what they usually eat, but they try to keep themselves away from fast food places. They do a lot of activities
outside such as play games, do yoga and just goof-off and enjoy their time
walking. As a result, the people all over of the world enjoy food and they try
to eat more healthy food them junk food. That is a good point to control our meal and lifestyle which helps to prevent some health problem in the future.
